You choose the goals and targets you set yourself, and you make the decisions and do things to reach them.
It may be difficult, and sometimes daunting (running on a treadmill for me). Sometimes you may even have to face just being sore and/or hungry.
I’m sat on a sun lounger in a beautiful part of Italy – after feeling very full from a larger meal that my body isn’t used to. But when I’m home, I set myself certain goals, to train regularly and to eat appropriately to my goals. Not everyone is able to do this, and certain situations with friends may be hard and push you off track.
